Later this fall, Windows 11 will be released to public. There is no firm date yet, but PTSI will keep you up to date as this progresses.
Important information you need to know:
- Only Windows 10 Enterprise or Professional versions can be upgraded for free.
- If you still using Windows 7 Enterprise or Professional, you can upgrade it to Windows 10 for free using Windows 10 upgrade assistance. Otherwise you will need to pay to receive Windows 11 upgrade.
- Home editions of Windows will not be eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 11.
Why wait, get upgraded to Windows 10 so you better prepared for Windows 11.
Please note Windows 11 comes with prerequisites which might be a deal breaker for some devices:
Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC)
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Storage: 64 GB or larger storage device
System firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot capable
TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0
Graphic Card: DirectX 12 compatible graphics / WDDM 2.x
Display: >9” with HD Resolution (720p)
Internet Connection: For home edition.
